ABOUT

The Thai Pestalozzi Foundation (TPF) was established on January 18, 1990 (Registered No. 4337) to offer educational grants to selected Thai children from financially disadvantaged households with good conduct and high potential for further education. It was founded by (1) the Pestalozzi Children’s Village Trust in the United Kingdom, (2) the alumni of the Pestalozzi Children’s Village who won scholarships to live and study in the Pestalozzi Children’s Village in Sedlescombe, near Battle in East Sussex, England, and (3) others in Thailand who shared the same ideals and principles.

Since its inception, the Foundation has supported over 340 children and currently supports 95 students, of which 37 are attending universities and 58 are in secondary schools.

Over the past 30 years, we are proud to have seen our students graduate as accountants, architects, computer programmers, dentists, engineers, government officers, medical doctors, school teachers, university lecturers, and entrepreneurs. Many of our graduates have remained with us to help run the Foundation on a voluntary basis, as well as to assist with our fundraising efforts, thus completing a full circle.

Our grants are awarded based on academic performance, and we are proud to support students from all regions of Thailand, including the Central, Northern, Southern, Eastern, Western, and North Eastern regions. As of October 2023, the Thai Pestalozzi Foundation is providing educational grants to 95 students, 21 males and 74 females, from all areas of Thailand, including

31 from the Central,

26 from the Northern,

6 from the Southern,

21 from the Eastern,

3 from the Western, and

8 from the North Eastern regions.

Grants are awarded upon receiving academic reports of each term.
