ABOUT
The Thai Pestalozzi Foundation (TPF) was formed on 18th January 1990 (Registered No. 4337) to provide educational grants to selected Thai children from poor families with good conduct and high potential in further education. It was set up by (1) the Pestalozzi Children’s Village Trust in the United Kingdom, (2) the alumni of the Pestalozzi Children’s Village who won scholarships to live and study in the Pestalozzi Children’s Village in Sedlescombe, near Battle in East Sussex, England and (3) others in Thailand who shared the same ideals and principles.
The Foundation had supported over 340 Thai children in education from its inception and currently supports 100 students with grants at secondary, vocational, higher vocational and undergraduate levels. Students are from all parts of Thailand.

OUR STORY
Over 50 years of relationship with Pestalozzi Children’s Village Trust
12 Thai children arrived at the Pestalozzi Children’s Village
12 Thai children arrived at the Pestalozzi Children’s Village, their age at the time of their arrival being from 9 to 13 years. Soon after, they were followed by children of other nationalities, namely from Jordan, India, Nigeria, Vietnam, Nepal and Zambia. Many hundreds of children had the opportunity of being brought up and provided with good education over the period of three decades at the Village.
OPERATION
To provide educational grants to poor children from all regions of Thailand and for the students in return to assist the Foundation in its further works to complete the full cycle of helping others in need.
The Foundation manages its operation through committee meetings which are held every three months. Three Sub-committees are set up to perform tasks of the Foundation which are as per above mentioned. Tasks performed by member of the Committee and member of the three Sub-committees are on a voluntary basis. In as such, funds raised by the Foundation are spent almost in its entirety as educational grants for the students.

Pestalozzi World Reunion
The 22nd Reunion Meeting was held at Madhuban Hotel, Dehradun, India during 1st – 4th February 2019.
